Cincinnati, Ohio - June 1, 2010 - Nate Collinsworth, world renowned jazz trumpeter, has come into his own. After years of recording and arranging music for some of the top artists, and being known as a musician’s musician, Collinsworth is debuting his first original solo album, Observation Street.

All ten songs have been written, arranged and performed by this exceptional artist, Nate Collinsworth.

The inspiration for this album was based on Nate’s world travels visiting over 50 countries in eight years. Observation Street is a blend of all the sights, sounds and smells from his voyage around the world. You will journey through a Swarm, visit Dixieland on Observation Street and experience the depths of the ocean with Blue and Deep. He allows us to experience our summer memories with Sangria and reminds us to dance with Playa Bejuco. Nate brings a sound for every listener with many styles of music compacted into one fantastic album.

Collinsworth’s bizarre arrangements bring a new flavor to jazz, pop and Latin. His approach to music will simply surprise you. His unique sound and original compositions captivates you as you begin to experience a global journey. His music encompasses his world travel, his flair for progressive sounds, while bringing all types of musical fans together.

About Nate Collinsworth:
Nate began playing trumpet when he was a child. He has worked with every major entertainer in the music industry from The Drifters, Alabama, Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach, Ben Vereen, Steve Lawrence, Eydie Gormè, and many others. He has traveled to over 50 countries.

As a musician for Bradley House Studios he has performed on numerous CDs. He is also an artist for Xstream Music Products.

His musical training includes the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Berklee College of Music and the Virginia Governor’s Magnet School for the Arts. He also spent 4 years in the United States Army, and was a graduate of the Armed Forces School of Music. Nate is a member of ASCAP.
